1. How to Start it

To run our Webmail program, just start up your browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type the URL mail.bluesoft.ca/mail. into the "Address" box at the top. This brings up a login form for the "IceWarp" email program. As you know, your login code is of the form: FredS@ABC.com. Don't forget the domain name!!. A common mistake is to just put in "FredS" without the domain name. Once you have logged in, you should see your inbox. To read messages, just click on the message title. To delete them, just check the check box and then click the delete link at the bottom of the screen.

2. Using Webmail ALL the time

Although most people only use the webmail to clear problems, or to access their mail from remote machines, some people use it all the time. The reason they like it is because nothing can go wrong, and you can access your mail from anywhere using the same procedure. Below are some notes you might want, depending on your use. You can use Webmail as your ONLY email program, and get rid of your troublesome email client program. Here are some of the common functions:

Send and receive messages
  Send attachments
  Save your mail in folders
  Configure "Signature Files"
To can run the icewarp from any computer, anywhere in the world. All you need to know is your Account Code and password.

3. How to send Attachments

Click "New Message". In the form that comes up, there is an "Attachment" field, just below the main message. Click the "Browse" button to find the file.

4. Using Webmail Part time

If you are only Webmail from home, but regularly using your Pop client at work, you probably have all your email folders at work. Therefore, if you get a message at home that you want to have filed in your folders at work, you should leave it in your inbox. It will then still be available for pickup at work. Your pop client removes all messages as soon as it picks them up, but Webmail only removes the messages if you specifically delete them.
